Systems Engineer (Linux)

Location: Singapore; at least 3 days in the office required

What you will do

• Manage and implement endpoint projects connecting client institutions and processors to hirify.globalNet.
• Provide technical advice, project coordination, documentation, and customer support.
• Create installation and activation scripts for vendor field engineers and support teams.
• Install and maintain Linux systems remotely with on-site vendor support.
• Resolve endpoint and critical system issues with global support groups, clients, and vendors.
• Coordinate ServiceNow changes, ITIL-compliant incidents, inventory records, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT operations and delivery, or strong technical performance as a fresh graduate.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Foundational project management skills and ITIL Foundation certification.
• Ability to work with global colleagues across cultures and time zones, participate in on-call support, and work evenings or weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Basic HTML, programming, or scripting skills.
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, SSL, and IPsec.
• Experience with project coordination, problem isolation, and critical system resolution.
