Senior Cyber Specialist - Governance, Risk & Assurance (12 mths MTC)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Align cybersecurity practices with CPS 234, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and other regulatory and industry frameworks.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments across technology environments, applications, and third-party suppliers.
• Deliver control testing, compliance reviews, audit support, and vendor assurance activities.
• Monitor and report on cyber risk, compliance, and control effectiveness for leadership and risk committees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed risk-aware decision-making and cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, assurance, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CPS 234, PCI DSS, and ASD Essential Eight.
• Experience with cyber risk assessments, control reviews, assurance activities, and third-party risk management.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and incident response practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related discipline; experience in financial services, payments, or another highly regulated industry.
