What you will do

• Transcribe and annotate Cantonese and English audio recordings accurately and consistently.
• Review and correct automated transcripts according to project guidelines.
• Capture language nuances, accents, dialects, speaker intent, and contextual cues in time-stamped transcripts.
• Proofread and quality-check transcripts, resolving unclear or ambiguous audio with project leads.
• Apply linguistic annotations and labels for AI training data and provide feedback to improve workflows.
• Complete assignments on schedule while maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Requirements

• Professional Cantonese audio transcription and strong Cantonese and English listening comprehension.
• Native or near-native Cantonese proficiency with an understanding of regional and dialectal variations.
• Attention to detail, proofreading, quality control, and linguistic annotation skills.
• Ability to accurately transcribe English audio and type in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet remote project deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with transcription, audio playback, or annotation tools.
• Experience with AI training, speech data, NLP, or linguistic annotation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
