Automotive Technician

Location: 260542 Stapleton, United States; on-site retail service role

Pay range: $19.25–$28.93 per hour, with $750 payments at 30 and 90 days. Compensation uses a performance-based flat-rate model.

What you will do

• Change oil and complete scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install vehicle parts.
• Road-test vehicles and assist with repair procedures.
• Explain repairs to customers and answer service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must complete or maintain Form I-9 employment eligibility verification; temporary work authorization or sponsorship needs may disqualify candidates.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. certification from A1–A8 within the first two years.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-technical training in an automotive field.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external training.
