Automotive Technician

Location: 303602 Franklin, United States; onsite automotive service role

Salary: $16.63–$24.99 with performance-based flat-rate pay

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, parts, and perform basic electrical system checks.
• Perform tire maintenance, repair tires, and road-test vehicles.
• Assist with vehicle assessments, explain repair procedures to customers, and provide service support.
• Obtain or maintain at least one A.S.E. A1–A8 certification within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must complete Form I-9 employment eligibility verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify employment.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a related vocational-technical program.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training or external qualifications.
