Change Communications & Engagement Lead, Core+ (Insurance)

Location: Sydney, Australia; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Lead internal communications and engagement activities for the CORE+ risk transformation program across Australia and New Zealand.
• Translate complex risk, governance, regulatory and transformation content into clear employee communications, FAQs, leader talking points and manager toolkits.
• Develop the CORE+ narrative, tone and messaging guardrails for communicating organisational change, accountability and progress.
• Partner with Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, HR, Marketing & Communications, program teams and senior leaders to coordinate approved communications.
• Design communications that support change adoption, risk ownership, controls discipline and sustainable business performance.
• Monitor employee sentiment, feedback and communication risks, and report on reach, engagement themes and adoption indicators.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in internal communications, change communications, organisational change or transformation communications in a complex corporate environment.
• Experience supporting transformation, remediation, regulatory change, risk uplift or culture change programs; regulated-industry experience is desirable.
• Strong ability to communicate complex, sensitive or technical topics clearly to employees, managers and senior leaders.
• Experience creating communication strategies, change narratives, leader talking points, FAQs, manager toolkits, engagement plans and multi-channel materials.
• Strong stakeholder management, judgement with confidential matters, written communication and communications measurement skills.
• Valid rights to work in Australia are required; employer sponsorship is not available.

• Experience in financial services, risk remediation or regulatory transformation.
• External change communication and transformation experience.
