Quality Technician (Pharma Manufacturing)

Location: Round Lake, Illinois, United States; onsite work in the Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities. Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, first shift, with regular overtime and weekend work required.

Salary: $44,800–$61,600 annually.

What you will do

• Review batch and critical systems documentation and determine acceptability using standard operating procedures.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and acceptable before product or system release.
• Maintain batch and systems release qualification within the assigned production cell.
• Analyze observations and data, interpret results, and review protocols, CWRs, and qualification records.
• Work with manufacturing and supervision to resolve quality and batch-related concerns.
• Troubleshoot, work independently, and make decisions based on procedural and regulatory requirements across Drug Delivery and Penicillin facilities.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of related experience.
• Basic science, mathematics, computer, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team, make independent decisions, and work flexible hours with minimal supervision.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must not be allergic to penicillin or cephalosporin drugs, must not be colorblind, and must have 20/20 near-vision acuity with or without correction.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
• Experience with current Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
