About the Role

You will design, implement, and maintain security architecture across cloud, blockchain, and non-blockchain systems. You will protect cloud networks, review infrastructure and applications, manage vulnerabilities, strengthen access controls, support incident response, develop security standards, and collaborate with engineering and product teams throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS security infrastructure services
• 5+ years of experience in blockchain security
• Experience with AppSec SAST DAST vulnerability management and penetration testing
• Thorough understanding of security operations standards
• Experience developing cybersecurity and IT architectures
• Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams under pressure
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Deep experience with identity management solutions
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudTrail CloudWatch SecurityHub GuardDuty Inspector Shield WAF Secrets Manager and Lambda
• Strong understanding of secrets management and confidential computing
• Familiarity with AWS Lambda EKS Kubernetes and container implementations
• Experience leading cloud system design and security reviews
• Familiarity with security concerns around language models autonomous agents machine learning and AI-augmented systems
• Ability to work with software SRE and cloud engineers
• Software development experience is a plus
• CISSP OSCP GIAC or AWS Certified Security Specialty is a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement the strategy defined by the CISO
• Review supplier and partner security profiles
• Manage security tooling licenses and entitlements
• Map initiatives to risk and maturity models
• Monitor emerging security tactics tools and solutions
• Engage with security communities and working groups
• Champion defense in depth and system segmentation
• Architect and implement cloud security solutions
• Develop requirements and standards for security operations and incident response
• Conduct system tests and monitor network security
• Establish disaster recovery procedures and conduct security drills
• Respond to security incidents and provide post-event analyses
• Work with product and engineering teams throughout the SDLC
• Use threat models to define requirements and identify security gaps
• Perform security reviews of infrastructure products and services
• Test web3 and web2 applications for vulnerabilities
• Manage remediation findings through resolution
• Develop secure coding standards and training materials
• Research blockchain-specific vulnerabilities
• Advise stakeholders on cloud security and blockchain standards
• Enhance detection and response capabilities
• Maintain cloud access controls and identity roles
• Evaluate and roll out security tooling
• Support additional security projects
