Blockchain Security Researcher (Web3)

What you will do

• Review smart contracts for decentralized applications, blockchain infrastructure, and financial institutions; identify, prioritize, and present vulnerabilities.
• Lead security audits independently from start to finish, using AI to expand audit coverage and improve output quality.
• Analyze protocol architecture, trust assumptions, and operational constraints during design reviews and applied research engagements.
• Design and develop smart contracts collaboratively with protocol teams.
• Build reusable AI skills, agents, prompts, scripts, and workflows for security research.
• Research emerging blockchain technologies, vulnerability classes, and attack vectors, and contribute findings to internal and public security knowledge.

Requirements

• Practical experience in software development, cybersecurity, applied mathematics, distributed systems, cryptography, cryptoeconomics, game theory, or DeFi mechanisms.
• Experience designing and developing smart contracts, in addition to auditing them.
• Strong working knowledge of Solidity and the Ethereum/EVM ecosystem, including common libraries, frameworks, and smart contract patterns.
• Daily use of modern AI tooling, with the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.
• Ability to build and extend tooling and workflows that can be adopted by other researchers.
• Advanced English level and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-EVM ecosystems and languages such as Move, Golang, Cairo, Rust-based blockchains, or ZK circuits.
• Crypto risk assessment, threat modeling, Web2 security, formal verification, invariant testing, or advanced fuzzing experience.
• Participation in audit contests or bug bounty platforms.
• Public security research, open-source security tooling, technical writing, or conference speaking experience.
