What you will do

• Perform chemical analysis and testing of customer samples according to laboratory procedures and quality standards.
• Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and standard solutions.
• Operate, calibrate, and support validation of laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Conduct testing with ICP-OES, HPLC, ion chromatography, and routine laboratory equipment.
• Maintain test reports, laboratory records, equipment records, and related documentation.
• Handle samples and chemicals safely, troubleshoot testing issues, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Graduate, postgraduate, or engineering qualification with Chemistry as a major or relevant subject.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in a chemical testing laboratory.
• Knowledge of chemical analysis, laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments and basic laboratory equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in surface finishing or surface treatment laboratory testing.
• Hands-on experience with ICP-OES, HPLC, and ion chromatography.
