Location: Kharkiv, Ukraine. The role requires approximately 40% office work and 60% field work, with regular travel within the area of responsibility and possible travel to sub-offices. Flexible remote work may be available, but the position includes recurring in-person and field duties.

What you will do
- Monitor legislation, regulations, policies, and rule-of-law developments affecting displaced and conflict-affected populations.
- Identify legal barriers related to protection, justice, legal aid, civil documentation, housing, land and property rights, administrative procedures, and essential services.
- Prepare advocacy materials, analytical notes, policy briefs, reports, and recommendations based on legal research and field evidence.
- Engage with government authorities, local administrations, IDP councils, civil society organizations, partners, and coordination mechanisms.
- Organize and facilitate roundtables, workshops, trainings, seminars, and stakeholder dialogue on rule of law, protection, and advocacy.
- Conduct field visits, maintain stakeholder mapping, and integrate partner perspectives and individual cases into advocacy priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law required.
- Experience in local or national advocacy, engagement with authorities and civil society, legal analysis, policy research, or preparation of analytical and policy documents.
- Experience organizing group events, trainings, workshops, or roundtable discussions.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian required; good verbal and written English required.
- Strong communication, analytical, research, organizational, computer, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external legal, governmental, humanitarian, and civil society stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Advanced studies or additional qualifications in human rights, public policy, advocacy, or a related field.
- Attorney's license.
