Environmental Monitoring Specialist

Location: On-site in Sanford, North Carolina, USA. Candidates must live within a commutable distance and have reliable daily transportation; the site is not accessible by public transportation.

What you will do

• Perform environmental monitoring activities for clinical and commercial facilities, utilities, and water systems.
• Complete GMP tasks supporting compliant manufacturing areas and operations.
• Conduct sampling, analysis, interpretation, and trending of environmental monitoring results.
• Create, review, and approve documentation.
• Perform work in a clean-room environment with required gowning and garbing.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
• Experience with environmental monitoring or work in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting is preferred.
• Understanding of cGMP, gLIMS, MODA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a clean-room environment and follow gowning and garbing procedures.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, stand or sit for 2–3 hours at a time, walk long distances, and bend to access lower shelving or cabinets.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
