Senior React Native Engineer (Web3)

What you will do

• Develop and ship customer-facing Android and web features for Aave App using React Native, TypeScript, and React.
• Build responsive, accessible interfaces and reusable components for different devices, form factors, and web surfaces.
• Integrate wallet connectivity, transaction preparation and signing, onchain data reads, gas estimation, and transaction-status updates.
• Connect savings, withdrawal, funding, notification, analytics, and other onchain and offchain product flows.
• Take features from technical design through release while contributing to shared application architecture.
• Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver polished interactions and a cohesive cross-platform design system.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building consumer mobile or cross-platform applications, including production experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong React fundamentals and experience profiling and resolving render-cost and re-render performance issues.
• Hands-on experience with Reanimated, Gesture Handler, Metro, Hermes, EAS, and native module integration and debugging.
• Experience delivering polished consumer experiences with attention to UX, accessibility, and design detail.
• Experience with secure storage, authentication, encryption, permissions, and sensitive mobile user data.
• Strong testing and debugging skills across unit, integration, end-to-end, device, and browser environments.
