Data Engineer (Software)

What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end data products for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, asset monitoring, and energy forecasting.
• Build scalable data pipelines using modern cloud-native tooling and support customer-facing backend APIs and frontend visualizations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, domain experts, frontend engineers, backend engineers, and data engineers.
• Translate ambiguous business and operational problems into structured engineering plans and validate ideas through rapid prototyping.
• Influence technical direction, architecture decisions, and product roadmap discussions.
• Improve maintainability, engineering quality, and operational reliability across the stack.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building real-world data products and working across data engineering systems, not only isolated pipelines.
• Mandatory knowledge of PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scalable data processing.
• Ability to work with noisy and incomplete sensor data, sparse labels, uncertain signals, and large-scale time-series datasets.
• Strong systems thinking, communication, trade-off analysis, and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Pragmatic, outcome-focused engineering mindset with comfort operating under uncertainty and evolving requirements.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C#/.NET.
