Senior Application Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; hybrid with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 CAD annual base salary

What you will do

• Refine and deliver the application security program across endpoints, applications, and underlying infrastructure.
• Perform regular security scans, track risks and artifacts throughout their lifecycle, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering and operational teams on existing and emerging security risks.
• Triage third-party assessments and review security reports from vendors, suppliers, and partners.
• Support internal security assessments, reviews, audits, and evidence generation.

Requirements

• Practical programming experience and proficiency reviewing code in multiple languages.
• Hands-on experience implementing endpoint, application, and infrastructure security controls, including SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Experience with public cloud services such as AWS or Azure, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, or PBMM-based security controls.
• Experience with enterprise GRC tools, large-scale web and serverless environments, stakeholder remediation, and audit evidence.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts clearly, work independently, learn quickly, and collaborate across engineering and operations teams.
