Architecture Intern (Facilities Engineering)

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico; onsite, part-time role within a manufacturing facility

Company

Global powersports manufacturer operating a large Mexico production site for off-road vehicles, including injection molding, tube fabrication, welding, engine assembly, painting, and vehicle assembly.

What you will do

• Support construction, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects within the manufacturing facility.
• Create, update, and maintain facility layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate and follow up with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Assist with field surveys, measurements, and layout validation.
• Organize technical documentation, drawings, and project records, and provide project status updates.
• Support construction standards, safety requirements, company guidelines, material estimates, and infrastructure planning.

Requirements

• Active student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic understanding of construction, infrastructure, and facility management concepts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
• Experience using AutoCAD for drafting and layout development.
• Familiarity with infrastructure, facilities, or construction-related projects.
• Advanced English proficiency.
