2027 Intern, Accounting

Location: Berlin, Connecticut; the Accounting organization is also located in Westwood, Massachusetts. Emergency restoration assignments may require work outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

What you will do

• Assist with SEC, Federal Regulatory Commission, and state regulatory filings.
• Review and analyze month-end financial statements and reports.
• Participate in the monthly accounting close, including journal entries and account analysis and reconciliation.
• Develop corporate cost-loading rates.
• Research accounting issues and work with the integrated accounting and budgeting system.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting theory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication, judgment, teamwork, interpersonal, and learning skills.
• Eversource will not provide immigration-related visa sponsorship for this position.
