TL;DR
Video Editor (Motorsport): Creating high-retention YouTube, social media, promotional, and live race video content with an accent on visual storytelling, pacing, sound design, motion graphics, and color grading. Focus on structuring compelling hooks, editing fast-turnaround race coverage, optimizing content for audience retention, and managing a Junior Video Editor.
Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week required in the Hammersmith, London office

What you will do
- Own the post-production pipeline and create high-retention weekly YouTube videos.
- Reformat and crop primary assets into short-form content for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Build strong hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, and retention-focused structures using zooms, text, b-roll, and other visual assets.
- Handle sound design, dialogue mixing, music selection, motion graphics, kinetic typography, CTA cards, and color grading.
- Provide reactive clipping and fast-turnaround editing during live race weekends while managing media archives.
- Line-manage a Junior Video Editor and collaborate through feedback and revisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of high-performing YouTube content and long-form storytelling.
- Experience with fast-turnaround live or high-energy sports coverage; motorsport experience is an advantage.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and intermediate proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong fundamentals in audio engineering and color correction.
- Understanding of comedic timing, visual pattern interrupts, audience analytics, and viewer retention.
- Ability to pitch creative ideas, respond to feedback, stay organized, and meet tight deadlines.
