Audio Visual, Editorial & Office Technology Assistant (VFX)

What you will do

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day AV issues and queries.
• Check, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems and screening spaces, escalating complex faults when required.
• Set up and support meetings, onsite events, client screenings, and dailies.
• Manage DCPs and operate the in-house XStudio screening software.
• Support AV projects and installations while keeping equipment and spaces tidy and well presented.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of audio-visual systems and equipment.
• Hands-on editing experience and working knowledge of post-production workflows.
• Understanding of VFX terminology and the wider visual effects industry.
• Professional, polished client-facing communication and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented, organised, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver to short deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DCP workflows and screening-room operations.
• Experience with Q-SYS or similar control systems.
• Experience with projector technologies.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar ticketing systems.
• Mac, Windows, or Linux experience.
