Engineering Manager (Networking Infrastructure)

Salary: $190,000–$237,500 USD per year, with potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, grow, and develop a high-performing team responsible for application traffic infrastructure.
• Drive the design and evolution of highly available distributed systems across multiple clouds and regions.
• Guide architectural decisions involving service mesh, routing, control planes, reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Lead large, ambiguous, cross-functional engineering initiatives and establish clear execution mechanisms.
• Balance operational priorities with long-term investments in architecture, reliability, and engineering velocity.
• Partner with infrastructure and application teams while recruiting and developing engineers.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience managing teams working on distributed systems, networking infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or platform infrastructure.
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to engage deeply in complex systems architecture.
• Experience leading large, ambiguous, cross-functional engineering initiatives.
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence in production systems.
• Experience developing senior engineers, building high-performing teams, and aligning stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
