Automotive Technician

Location: 591513 Hwy 242; onsite automotive service position in the United States.

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 per hour through a performance-based flat-rate compensation model.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries, parts, and perform electrical system checks.
• Perform tire maintenance, repairs, and vehicle road tests.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and provide service support.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certification in at least one A1–A8 area within the first two years.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform foundational automotive maintenance.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, vehicle inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Employment requires completion of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify applicants.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Vocational-technical training in automotive repair or demonstrated skills through certificates or assessments.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent training credentials.
