Automotive Technician (Automotive)

Location: 353170 Sunset; onsite automotive service role in the United States. Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification is required, and temporary work authorization or the need for sponsorship may disqualify candidates.

Pay range: $17.50–$26.30 per hour, with flat-rate performance-based compensation. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for first-time hires.

What you will do

• Change oil and perform scheduled vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install automotive parts.
• Road test vehicles and assist with vehicle assessments and repairs.
• Explain repair procedures to customers and answer service questions.

Requirements

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform general automotive maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver's license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• A.S.E. certification in at least one area from A1–A8 must be obtained or maintained within the first two years of employment.

Nice to have

• Two years of automotive repair experience.
• Completion of a vocational-technical program in a related field.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent external training and qualifications.
