Ruby on Rails Developer– Senior (iGaming)

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve Ruby on Rails services for high-throughput APIs, payment and wallet flows, real-time game integrations, and back-office tooling.
• Use AI coding assistants and agents for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and code review while owning the quality of merged code.
• Integrate LLM-based features for fraud and risk signals, player-support automation, content generation, and internal analytics.
• Improve performance and reliability by profiling hot paths, optimizing PostgreSQL queries, and designing caching and background-processing strategies.
• Review human- and AI-written code, investigate incidents to their root causes, and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience with strong knowledge of Ruby internals and Rails conventions.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including indexing, query planning, and zero-downtime migrations on large tables.
• Understanding of distributed systems, message queues, idempotency, eventual consistency, background jobs, caching, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and the ability to evaluate, test, and explain AI-generated code.
• Experience with REST or gRPC APIs, OpenAPI, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes manifests and logs, and observability tools.
• English at B2 or higher for technical documentation, RFCs, and code reviews.

Nice to have

• Production experience integrating LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or agent frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI security and data privacy, including PII handling, prompt injection, and model-output validation.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or iGaming and familiarity with regulatory and responsible-gaming requirements.
• Open-source Ruby contributions, technical talks, or technical writing.
• Working knowledge of Go, Elixir, or TypeScript.
