Fraud and Risk Officer Intern

Location: Paris, France. The role is on-site with a hybrid work environment that includes two remote days per week, one remote work week per quarter, and three flex days.

Salary: €1,200–€1,400 per month, depending on study level.

What you will do

• Evaluate and monitor high-risk transactions for potential fraud.
• Report fraud statistics and trends to improve detection rates and team knowledge.
• Defend chargebacks on behalf of hirify.global.
• Suspend or reinstate accounts based on fraud assessments and appeals.
• Resolve fraud-related customer emails and assist with claims and disputes.
• Analyze fraud and payment data, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate with Finance and Customer Support to reduce customer friction.

Requirements

• Student in Finance or an equivalent field.
• Availability for a six-month full-time internship from January through June 2027.
• Fully professional English proficiency.
• Investigative mindset, strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Data-oriented approach and confidence using Excel.
• A French school internship agreement is required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in fraud prevention or e-commerce.
