Experienced Software Engineer (Frontend, React)

Location: Linköping, Sweden; primarily on-site at the Ebbepark office

What you will do

• Develop and operate web clients for AXIS Camera Station across internet and private-network environments.
• Design and evolve the product architecture for video management and surveillance-data applications.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and other development teams through pair and ensemble programming.
• Improve development methodology and testing practices, including the use of AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including bringing products to market.
• Solid experience building frontend applications with React.
• Understanding of backend development, CI/CD, and cloud-deployed solutions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development.
• Relevant engineering degree, such as Computer Science or a similar discipline.
• Strong communication, collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, Go, or FluentUI.
• Experience streaming media through WebRTC.
• Interest in full-stack development and quality assurance across varied technologies and deployment environments.
