Senior Compliance Manager - Global FCC Investigations (Cryptocurrency)

What you will do

• Lead and manage AML investigators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance support.
• Support transaction monitoring and suspicious activity investigations and reporting for money laundering and terrorism financing risks.
• Evaluate AML/CFT and Suspicious Transaction Report requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Build scalable operational solutions, standard operating procedures, and process improvements across transaction monitoring, blockchain investigations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on compliance systems and tooling enhancements.
• Analyze data, identify process gaps, and partner with compliance, training, and investigations leaders on risk mitigation and quality improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct experience in AML/CFT investigations, financial crime operations, transaction monitoring, or related roles.
• 2–3 years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of global AML/CFT regimes, including FATF guidance.
• Strong process, project management, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working independently and in dispersed, cross-functional teams.
• Strong adoption of AI tooling and high ethical standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multinational or matrixed organization with global coverage.
• Familiarity with Elliptic, Chainalysis, or comparable transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics tools.
• CAMS, CFCS, ICA Diploma, or equivalent certification.
