Compliance Officer & MLRO (Crypto)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain AML/CTF, anti-bribery and corruption, KYC, onboarding, sanctions, and internal control policies.
• Conduct AML/CTF, ABC, fraud, customer due diligence, and enhanced due diligence risk assessments.
• Monitor and investigate suspicious transactions, unusual activity, and potential fraud, ensuring appropriate reporting to authorities.
• Act as a liaison with Bahraini regulatory bodies and manage regulatory inquiries, examinations, and audits.
• Enhance transaction monitoring and fraud detection programs, tools, and prevention strategies.
• Advise management and international stakeholders, train employees, and manage relationships with external compliance service providers.

Requirements

• ICA and CAMS qualifications.
• Experience in data protection compliance or a related field.
• Experience working in a crypto company.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-cultural teams.
• Ability to manage workloads and teams across multiple countries and time zones.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
