Senior QA Engineer at JoomAI (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; office-first with the possibility to work remotely 52 days per year

Salary: From €70,000 gross per year, plus performance-based bonuses

What you will do

• Perform manual testing of web services, backend systems, and APIs.
• Analyze complex business logic, break it into clear components, and identify issues that others may miss.
• Collaborate with the development team to improve the product.
• Investigate issues thoroughly and identify root causes.
• Improve testing processes and contribute to product quality.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience testing web applications.
• Understanding of web technologies and client-server interactions.
• Experience working with at least one database.
• Ability to inspect, analyze, and modify network traffic using Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Postman, or similar tools.
• Availability to work primarily from the Lisbon office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with testing methodologies and experience optimizing testing processes.
• Basic programming skills for writing scripts or creating simple test automation.
