What you will do

• Lead a team of software development engineers building and refining tools for private cloud-native infrastructure.
• Shape the architecture and implementation of stable, scalable, and flexible production environments.
• Manage workload, well-being, hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and professional growth for engineers.
• Collaborate across engineering, product and project management, and executive leadership.
• Plan, track, deliver, and manage complex projects across teams while driving engineering best practices.
• Apply AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering or development experience, including 2–3+ years in a hands-on people-management role.
• Experience with large-scale distributed production environments and cloud-native software delivery.
• Experience leading remote teams and developing high-performing software engineers.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, SDLC processes, and Jira.
• Strong collaboration, communication, design, problem-solving, security, quality, and performance skills.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling distributed systems on bare-metal and virtual data center infrastructure.
• Cost optimization and cost-of-goods-sold experience.
• Professional Go experience for automation tools, dashboards, scripts, or alarms.
• Scrum or other agile methodology leadership experience.
