Senior Rust Engineer (Trading)

Location: Remote-first, work from anywhere; Moscow listed as the city/region

What you will do

• Build and maintain core trading platform components in Rust, including exchange and broker gateways, data pipelines, monitoring tools, and algorithmic trading infrastructure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into platform features with product, trading, and engineering teams.
• Optimize latency, throughput, stability, and determinism using measurements and load testing.
• Add observability through metrics, logs, tracing, alerts, and dashboards.
• Diagnose trading-loop incidents, identify root causes, document analyses, and implement fixes.
• Maintain automated and manual testing, integration suites, documentation, service contracts, and operational runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building low-latency, high-reliability systems.
• Extensive Rust experience.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, data structures and algorithms, concurrent and parallel programming, distributed computing, and performance optimization.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, readable and maintainable code practices, and experience with sensible testing.
• Ownership of tasks through production, including resolving blockers and coordinating with peers.
• Higher technical education or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with market data, trading protocols, and operational risk.
