Finance Lead (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid work arrangement; authorization to work in Portugal required

Salary: €42,100–€67,505 base pay annually, plus an annual bonus or sales commissions depending on the role and location.

What you will do

• Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for Portugal across regional markets.
• Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for finance and business leaders.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Analyze business results, trends, and financial drivers to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to standardize reporting and improve financial processes.
• Support internal and external audits, financial controls, governance standards, and ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Typically 5–8 years of relevant finance experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard financial systems or reporting tools.
• Ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• English proficiency and authorization to work in Portugal are required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA in finance or business.
• Experience supporting senior commercial business partners or working in multinational environments.
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and financial reporting tools.
• CPA, ACCA, or similar certification.
