TL;DR
Microsoft 365 - Level 2 Support (Microsoft 365/Exchange): Administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services, hybrid Exchange environments, and related identity, security, and endpoint technologies with an accent on complex incident resolution, service restoration, and enterprise support. Focus on diagnosing critical incidents, managing escalations within SLA, and resolving mail-flow, authentication, synchronization, and on-premises Exchange disaster recovery issues.

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do

  • Investigate, diagnose, prioritize, and resolve Microsoft 365 and Exchange incidents.
  • Administer Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and on-premises Exchange environments.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Entra Connect Sync, ADFS, password hash synchronization, self-service password reset, modern authentication, Microsoft 365 Apps, and Intune/Endpoint integrations.
  • Manage complex escalations and critical incidents, coordinating with L1, L2, L3, and other technical towers to restore services within SLA.
  • Perform mail hygiene, eDiscovery, message tracing, connection filtering, transport rules, allowlisting/blocklisting, and quarantine management.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of broad IT support experience covering servers, networking, and desktop support.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 and Exchange troubleshooting experience, including hybrid environments and on-premises Exchange disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, MX records, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance technologies, including ATP, AIP, DLP, MFA, MDO, and MDE.
  • Experience with PowerShell, migration tools such as Quest and SPMT, and automation methods.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
