TL;DR

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; on-site support and travel to regional offices may be required

What you will do
- Operate and maintain macOS and Windows laptops, iOS and Android devices, IP phones, and other desktop IT equipment.
- Manage office IT systems, including Wi-Fi, wired networks, VPNs, video conferencing, printers, CCTV, access control, server rooms, cabling, UPS systems, switches, and access points.
- Monitor infrastructure availability and performance, troubleshoot network and endpoint issues, and support daily office operations.
- Identify AI and automation opportunities, build end-to-end solutions, and improve troubleshooting, ticket handling, documentation, and reporting.
- Support regional IT rollouts and new office setups, including on-site project delivery and technical coordination.
- Maintain SOPs and knowledge bases, implement global IT standards, and coordinate vendors, procurement, installation, and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, networking, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, IT engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and smart office systems, plus basic server and network administration knowledge.
- Strong Python or equivalent programming skills, plus PowerShell or Bash; experience with Git, code review, REST APIs, and internal tools.
- Practical experience using AI assistants and building AI agents, AI skills, or MCP integrations.
- Fluent spoken and listening proficiency in Malay, English, and Mandarin; flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel to regional offices is required.

- Experience in a large IT company.
- CCNA, Microsoft, or Linux certifications.
- Experience deploying AI solutions for non-technical users.
- Portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of internally developed tools.
