Senior Analyst Developer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Analyse, design, and develop tests for robust new platform features in an agile environment.
• Provide maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing and new systems.
• Develop front-end and administration systems for life insurance companies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers.
• Recommend continuous improvements and apply software engineering best practices.
• Support other engineers and contribute to improving the technical assessment and hiring process.

Requirements

• Experience with Smalltalk or software engineering experience in the life insurance sector is required.
• Hands-on experience with software technologies and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills.
• Master’s degree in engineering, PhD in science, or equivalent experience; fluent English is the working language.

Nice to have

• French or Italian language skills.
