Security Engineer (AI Governance)

What you will do

• Build and continuously improve detection and response capabilities across infrastructure and products.
• Automate triage, enrichment, containment, evidence collection, investigations, and response workflows.
• Evaluate emerging security concerns in laboratory environments, including detection and response strategies for agents operating at scale.
• Identify security-control gaps and coordinate remediation, vulnerability management, and patching across IT and cloud environments.
• Perform security and risk assessments covering infrastructure, AI implementations, and global governance frameworks.
• Streamline ISMS policies and coordinate security inquiries, partner audits, J-SOX, and enterprise compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Japanese: business level; English: intermediate or higher.
• Understanding of the enterprise AI attack surface and hands-on experience with threat detection or incident response.
• Experience creating detections, conducting investigations, and improving operational playbooks.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, personal data protection laws, compliance standards, and ISMS operations.
• Experience converting compliance controls into scalable, auditable policies and operational workflows with business process owners.
• Practical AI governance experience, including MCP or external-tool reviews, acceptable-use policies, data-classification guardrails, and AI-related incident response; knowledge of ISO 42001 and NIST AI RMF.

Nice to have

• Experience in governance functions at companies adopting AI aggressively.
• Knowledge of AI governance, AI risk management, and ISMS audit and certification processes.
• Experience providing risk-based choices between hard restrictions and monitored guardrails.
