Commercial Officer (Grid Technologies): Managing the commercial success of complex energy infrastructure projects from bid preparation through delivery with an accent on contract strategy, project finance, risk assessment, and cash flow management. Focus on coordinating commercial execution, controlling project financial performance, managing claims and change orders, and ensuring compliance across international stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Lead the commercial scope of bidding activities, including contract review, pricing, cost calculations, financing concepts, payment terms, foreign exchange, guarantees, insurance, export control, and compliance assessments.
  • Partner with Sales, Offer, factory, delivery, customer, and consortium stakeholders to identify commercial risks and support contract negotiations.
  • Manage SAP project setup, financial planning, cost controlling, and commercial performance from project launch through closure.
  • Manage change orders, claims, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and cash collection.
  • Collaborate with project management, Controlling, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Insurance, and audit functions to meet commercial targets and improve execution processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, Contract Management, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial or finance project management, preferably in infrastructure, transmission, or engineering delivery projects.
  • Knowledge of project finance, commercial management, cost calculation, revenue recognition under IFRS and CCM, contract management, change management, and risk management.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Availability for domestic and international travel when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP, digitalization or low-code solutions, hedging, financing concepts, guarantees, insurance, or export control.
