Network Operations Analyst (Networking)

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and improve logical data and security networks, including edge routers, core switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve medium- and high-complexity production incidents involving transit providers, internet exchanges, and data center partners.
• Provide L1/L2 and partial L3 network support to customers and internal teams while meeting SLA requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring incidents.
• Support network expansions, topology changes, capacity improvements, and accurate technical documentation.
• Manage network monitoring systems by creating and tuning alerts, graphs, and thresholds.

Requirements

• English at B2 level or higher, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, ARP, subnetting, ACLs, and DHCP.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, SNMP, NTP, SSH, ping, and traceroute.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production environments and communicating technical topics clearly under pressure.
• CCNA certification is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or multi-vendor network environments.
• Background in ISP, data center, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, LibreNMS, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience working directly with carriers and transit providers.
• Higher-level networking certifications.
