What you will do

• Provide strategic statistical leadership and methodological oversight across discovery, translational, and early research programs.
• Design studies and conduct complex analyses of preclinical, translational, biomarker, imaging, omics, and human research datasets.
• Develop innovative statistical methods, reproducible analytical workflows, and statistical programming solutions, particularly in R.
• Support biomarker identification, evaluation, and validation and translate scientific data into project and portfolio decisions.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics, biometrics, data management, PK/PD, and other quantitative functions.
• Mentor statisticians, scientists, contractors, and interns and contribute to publications, ethics submissions, collaborations, and training.

Requirements

• PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of statistical experience in preclinical pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or biomedical research environments.
• Experience applying advanced statistical methodologies to biological, translational, biomarker, omics, imaging, or related scientific data.
• Strong experience with modern statistical programming, reproducible analysis workflows, quantitative computing platforms, and R.
• Scientific contributions demonstrated through publications, conference presentations, methodological innovations, or analytical tools and platforms.
