Data Migration Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Draper, Utah; in-office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

What you will do

• Support customer implementations and data migration projects during onboarding.
• Prepare, format, validate, and reconcile customer data and files using Microsoft Excel, internal tools, and AI.
• Run and document test migrations, verifying the accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
• Provide hands-on support during critical cutover and go-live periods.
• Collaborate with implementation, R&D, and migration teams to resolve data-related blockers.
• Document data mappings, processes, reconciliation results, and lessons learned while escalating discrepancies clearly.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in data or file migration, data analysis, or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across large datasets.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, ownership, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use AI to work more efficiently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience writing or optimizing SQL queries or scripts for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments or data migration tools.
• Experience with accounting or financial data.
• Experience supporting software implementations or client onboarding.

Hiring process

• Application review followed by a 20-minute call with the People Team.
• 45–60-minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager.
• One to three additional interview rounds followed by a final interview.
