Associate Software Engineer (PropTech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable software features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Build tools and services for identifying, reviewing, and handling harmful or non-compliant content.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and develop unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Participate in code reviews, monitoring, troubleshooting, defect resolution, refactoring, and production support.
• Document system designs, APIs, and development processes while following security, compliance, and change-management practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders in an agile cross-functional team.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 12 months of software development experience with proficiency in Scala, Kotlin, or Java.
• Foundational full-stack development skills covering front-end, back-end, and data-driven systems.
• Knowledge of Agile or Kanban methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong foundations in coding standards, software design, version control, automated testing, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Clear communication skills, a growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning.
