Field Service Team Lead (Installations) (Retail AI)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Region, United Kingdom; on the road and at customer sites

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate Field Service Technicians during customer-site installations.
• Install, mount, connect, configure, and onboard shelf-mounted camera hardware.
• Conduct site checks and briefings, identify risks, and resolve installation issues.
• Act as the customer point of contact and ensure service-level agreements are met.
• Review completed work, maintain installation records, and sign off installations against quality standards.
• Train team members, enforce safety procedures, and achieve installation speed and quality KPIs.

Requirements

• Previous field technician experience in field service, installation, construction, or a related area, including experience leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Experience using power tools and installation equipment.
• Physical stamina for demanding work on foot for periods of up to nine hours.
• Valid UK driving licence and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends required.
