PharmD Fellow, Safety Analysis Scientist

What you will do

• Prepare scientific safety analyses, evaluations, reports, and revisions for marketed products and products in development.
• Retrieve, analyze, and interpret safety data to support benefit-risk recommendations and regulatory compliance.
• Support Safety Management Teams by preparing data, presenting findings, recording meeting minutes, and updating signal tracking information.
• Collaborate with Medical Safety Officers, Therapeutic Area Safety Heads, preceptors, and cross-functional safety partners.
• Support Health Authority interactions, stakeholder presentations, guest lectures, and continuing education activities.
• Participate in rotational experiences covering case processing, signal management, safety surveillance, medical literature, and clinical trial data.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. degree: Graduated from an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program within the last two years or will receive the degree before the fellowship starts.
• Solid understanding of medical concepts and ability to analyze complex medical-scientific data from multiple sources.
• Ability to interpret and present complex data to determine benefit-risk impact.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders in a matrix environment, plan work, meet deadlines, balance priorities, and demonstrate leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; a letter of intent and three letters of recommendation are required.
