Manufacturing POU Technician I (Point-of-Use Purifiers)

Location: San Luis Obispo, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $23–$25 per hour, depending on overall skills and experience.

What you will do

• Build purifier subassemblies and finished products according to work orders, process records, released drawings, and photographic instructions.
• Perform visual inspections, aesthetic finishing, cleaning, etching, bead blasting, labeling, and packaging.
• Test purifiers through leak checks following SEMI S2 specifications.
• Complete production orders, point-of-use logs, labels, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
• Use hand tools, maintain a clean and safe work area, follow personal protective equipment and safety procedures, and complete 6S responsibilities.
• Prioritize production work to support on-time shipments while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience.
• Ability to learn to navigate operating systems and locate bills of materials, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds daily, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to detail, safe material handling, basic computer and data-entry skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Dependability and flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required by business needs.
