2027 Associate Software Engineer (Game Development)

Location: Remote; Boston studio available for in-office activities and perks

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Work with artists and designers to define game features and system requirements.
• Implement, test, debug, and maintain source code.
• Deliver high-quality systems according to specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and iterate on game features.
• Provide ongoing technical support to artists and designers.
• Make informed trade-offs among scope, quality, and delivery pace.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills and deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Professional software development experience.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Experience developing games with Unreal Engine or Unity.
• Experience with C++ or C#.
• Experience developing mobile or console apps and games.
