Diesel Mechanic C

Location: Mobile, Alabama, USA; onsite fleet maintenance

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment under the supervision of a lead technician, maintenance supervisor, or maintenance manager.
• Inspect vehicle systems and identify equipment issues and malfunction sources using appropriate tools.
• Change oil and replenish fluids, adjust equipment, replace tires, and perform light repairs.
• Complete basic electrical work, including light changes.
• Complete applicable company training and other assigned maintenance duties.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Nice to have

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program.
• ASE T8 Preventive Maintenance certification.
