Fleet Mechanic

Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States; candidates must be physically located in the United States while performing the job.

Salary: $34,365–$63,575 per year

What you will do

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, production equipment, and specialized equipment.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle chassis, tank, pump, and spray systems.
• Repair tractors, forklifts, small engines, aerators, seeders, spreaders, and related equipment.
• Document repairs in an electronic maintenance management system and maintain parts inventory.
• Coordinate outsourced maintenance with vendors and local service providers.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs, manage the maintenance budget, and respond to field breakdowns.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–4 years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Fluent spoken, read, and written English.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office and ability to interpret safety, operating, and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail, communication, organization, and time management skills.
