Director, Quality Assurance Nuclear (DQAN) (Nuclear Quality Assurance): Leading CB&I’s certified Nuclear Quality Assurance Program across nuclear projects and sites with an accent on ASME NQA-1, regulatory compliance, audits, supplier assurance, and project quality governance. Focus on directing quality managers, resolving significant non-conformances, supporting regulatory inspections, and driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Location: Plainfield, Illinois, United States

Salary: $132,641.00–$172,433.46 annually (USD)

What you will do

  • Lead and govern the certified Nuclear Quality Assurance Program across nuclear projects and sites.
  • Provide functional leadership and performance management for site-based Project Quality Managers and Corporate Quality Managers.
  • Oversee project quality readiness, mobilization, project-specific Quality Plans, client technical documents, and site code stamps.
  • Manage audits, supplier evaluations, regulatory inspections, non-conformances, corrective actions, Observation Reports, and Corrective Action Requests.
  • Act as the senior quality interface for regulators, clients, owners, joint venture partners, suppliers, and internal leadership.
  • Establish quality metrics, lead management reviews, and drive standardization and lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear quality requirements and industry codes, including ASME, API, and AWWA.
  • Experience with welding, NDT, quality assurance, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, risk-assessment, and project-planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
