QA Auditor (Principal / Senior / Auditor)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; travel between fleet locations, including occasional travel within the United States and internationally.

Salary: $84,900–$159,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead or participate in quality assurance audits at nuclear sites and suppliers.
• Analyze observations, interviews, and document reviews to identify compliance deviations and performance shortfalls.
• Develop quality assurance and vendor audit plans in accordance with the NSPM Quality Assurance Topical Report.
• Communicate audit findings, non-compliances, and performance gaps to fleet and station management.
• Build professional relationships with audited personnel and follow up to confirm corrective actions are effective.
• Provide project oversight for enterprise risk projects and communicate results to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent on-the-job experience or training.
• Principal Auditor: 12+ years of engineering experience in nuclear generating plant operations or maintenance processes.
• Senior Auditor: 4–11 years of engineering experience in nuclear generating plant operations or maintenance processes.
• Auditor: Previous engineering experience in nuclear generating plant operations or maintenance processes.
• Equivalent electrical power plant experience in other industries or the military may be accepted.
• Ability to obtain and maintain qualifications for unescorted access to hirify.global nuclear power plants.

Nice to have

• SRO license or certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical science, or mathematics.
• Recognition as an industry or subject matter expert through professional leadership, publications, presentations, awards, advanced certification, or consulting expertise.
