Copywriter (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Create clear, compelling copy for John Lewis Money across headlines, emails, web content, POS, and other channels.
• Follow brand and tone-of-voice guidelines under the direction of the Lead Copywriter.
• Ensure financial copy meets regulatory, legal, and compliance standards and is clear, fair, and not misleading.
• Manage multiple fast-moving and ad-hoc briefs, prioritising workload and communicating capacity.
• Follow studio copy processes, including tracked changes, copy amends, and reviewer feedback.

Requirements

• Essential experience in financial services marketing and communications.
• Sound understanding of financial promotion principles and FCA regulations.
• Outstanding short- and long-form writing skills across multiple channels and platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, organisational, and time-management skills.
• Experience interpreting business requirements and briefs and turning them into engaging written content.
• Familiarity with workflow systems such as Asana, time-tracking tools, and a copywriting portfolio covering brand and direct-response campaigns.

Nice to have

• Additional experience in financial services marketing and communications.
