Software Engineering Intern (Go/Trading Systems)

Location: New York, on-site; candidates must be local to the NYC headquarters

Salary: $50 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Trading team to define project scope, requirements, and milestones.
• Prepare design documentation and participate in architectural discussions.
• Build Go features for the Order Management System, which supports trading decisions and best execution.
• Add analytics and metrics to evaluate the impact of changes.
• Iterate on implementations based on team feedback and demonstrate progress through regular demos.

Requirements

• Be a member of the Class of 2028 pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have proficiency in at least one compiled language, such as Go, C++, or Java.
• Have at least one previous internship involving backend systems in a production environment.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Postgres.
• Strong communication, analytical, self-directed, and collaborative working skills.
• Must be local to the NYC headquarters.

• Previous experience with trading systems.
